so I am going to copano pier tomorrow and I have never purchased bait in rockport I would rather not buy from the pier since they normally overcharge at piers I would like to get crab and shrimp, Im just uncertain where because I have only fished in rockport one other time and I had already had bait I purchased earlier that day in corpus

Sea Gun, right on the north end of the bridge, behind the gas station.
usually live shrimp & croakers.

Fulton Bait Stand always has good bait. May be hard to find live shrimp right now. Mullet and crab.

mom's in the harbor. everytime I go she's got crabs.

theres this really friendly asian lady that sells bait in one of the bait shacks, thats where i always get bait from around those parts

Bait stands in Rockport Harbor will work for ya.
Deep harbor and clear saltwater being pumped in keep the shrimp strong and fresh if they arrive that way.
