What type of rod do you throw the Alabama rig on , length & brand

Broom stick or you will end up with a broken rod. (I learned the hard way with a couple other rods!)

I use a TFO swimbait rod.

Best I've got is a 7 ft Veritas heavy. Like stated above though, I believe I could still break it unless I am careful.

I use the TFO 7' 11" swimbait rod rated for 1-6 oz.

Just got a Veritas as well. Combined with a Revo Winch it can also through the XD10's a country mile. Rated up to 2 oz.

7"6" Duckett Extra Heavy. Talked to Jason Quinn at the Classic Expo last year, and this is the rod he uses and suggested. It has worked flawlessly for me for the past year.

I also just switched to Daiwa Samurai 70 lb Braid, it's a lot quiter through the guides than the Power Pro 65 lb I've used for the past few years.

I didn't have alot of money at the time. I bought the St.Croix 7'9" mojo swimbait rod. Have not had any problems.

check out the falcon bucoo A rig special. Only $150 and makes a great rod for 10 XDs as well

for 129.99 on TW, 13 fishing in the omen series has a 7ft 11" H that makes an awesome arig/ 10z football jig/ punching rod . . ive got 2 of them
