I bought a 12' Ranger Z119 and it does not have the Pure Aerators...Looks like the Oxygenator might be a good solution...
Has anyone used Oxygenators?

15. Signature images may not be larger than 600 pixels wide by 125 pixels tall. This includes logos, photos and other graphics. Also, no more than one row of images are allowed. If you want four or five logos in your signature, reduce their size to fit in one row.

Ha. 2012. A 12 ft Ranger with a 225 would fly. Literally.

Google the TP&WD report on testingof livewell oxygen levels and the Oxygenator device.

(Short version: ....It is just a hocus pocus, useless product accordng the the Texas Parks and Fisheries biologists. Instead, for livelwells, they suggest using direct oxygen injection from pressurized bottles of O2.

People that bought the Oxygenator that never have taken a dissolved O2 level readingin their life, though will swear they didn't waste their money and will dispute the experts. )

I just tried to find that report...Everything I am finding is the opposite that more oxygen produced in the livewell, the better the fish will be.

Do you have the link from TP&WD saying an oxygenator is useless?

I don't believe this and will be happy to prove this to anyone that comes to visit us. A friend and I started tournamenttanks.com. We use the commercial grade Oxygenators in our live release trailers. We have an O2 meter that show oxygen saturation in water. With them on and here's the key (WITH THE RIGHT TIME) the oxygen level will increase. You can't just drop it in and magically have increased levels. You need to give the system time to work. We normally start the Oxygenators an hour or two before any fish are put in. There is a reason all boat manufactures are starting to use these. They do work.

Installed this exact system in my boat last year without much trouble and for quite a bit less $$ than they list. It is awesome. Put a 10.9 and a 9.75 in the well at Falcon last May before 8am in the morning. Both were trying to jump out of the livewell at 3pm.

I don't have one, but I've heard that the fish get jacked from it. I can't say from personal expierence, just word of mouth

So very true I have to agree with my live well fish, very lively at the end of the day thumb
Have them installed in all my Skeeters over the years.

For those wanting to take absolute best care of their fish while in the livewell, this oxygen injection system at the TPWD link above is the only one you need. The presentation includes the rationale and details, but simply put, the most important variable relative to livewell fish care is dissolved oxygen levels. Standard livewell aeration pumps are injecting air (21% oxygen), while this system is injecting 100% oxygen.

Debra, chasinbass was referring to the oxygen injection system (oxygen bottle, regulator, and diffusers), not the Oxygenator.
