I'm a big fan of the caffine shad.
Strike King is making big moves overall in their soft plastics department

Yamamoto D Shad - fluke style bait that is really dense. Designed specifically for twitching sub-surface and staying down.

For Fluke style baits fished weightless....I like the caffeine shad. It has a tail similar to that of the trick worm and is perfect for twitching.
The only time I use the Zoom Fluke anymore is on a C-Rig.

Hi Hullbilly,
Are you still racing in the Deep South? We are going to quite a few races this year.
No. I'm no longer racing, but I did have fun doing it. Something I always wanted to do, but knew I wouldn't/shouldn't make it a long term habit. I'm enjoying concentrating on fishing and hunting nowadays. Thanks for asking. You going to be spectating or racing this year?

I'm partial to Wave Worm's Shadick but Strike King's Caffine Shad has sure been producing for me!

I stick with the Zoom super fluke with a 4/0 EWG and 14lb Fluoro...Gotta let it sink but the combo of a bigger hook and fluoro allows me to keep the bait down where I need it. My favorite rig to fish and one that I have the most confidence in.
Close second to Zoom is the Yum fluke. Great action on the fall but zips around when worked correctly.
Yield not to misfortunes but advance ever more boldly against them

He was the Pro Gas points champion this past year. The wives usually watch him while I do some local fishing. We've met a lot of the people that travel and they are a fun group.

I'm not a big fan of big bite baits but there fluke knockoff is a bit denser/heavier and seems to work better for a faster deep water presentation. I'm a fan of em .. caught a lot of fish on the fluke style and the senko style..

Zoom Super Fluke. Rigged and worked as others have stated. Catches when nothing else will. Goes in places where nothing else will.
Culprit Jerkworm. They were discontinued several years back, but I have a coveted stash! Caught my 10 lb 4 oz PB on Toledo Bend with one.

I get a little light headed thinking about deadsticking a Zoom Magnum Super Fluke in a tree at Falcon. 5/0 red EWG Gama hook, watermelon red magic fluke on 25lb Abrazx and a head turning rod.
