Went out today and my trolling motor seemed to run the batteries way down after about four hours of fishing. It has speeds of 1 thru 5 and i normally run it on 3. At the end it seemed like even four wasnt moving very fast. I put it on five and it spun the boat around pretty quickly. Is this just a classic case of bad batteries or might i have something else wrong? The batteries are three years old next month. Thanks for any help given.

Bad Battery. Take them in and have them load checked

I had to replace my batteries after three years. Sounds like you need to get your batteries checked out.
