Its an illness dude, I have it as well, as most of us do...I think I understand how chicks are with shoes, but I will never admit it to my wife or daughter.

My problem is always wanting to try something new or something I haven't seen before, or something that looks good. Which means I end up with way too much crud half of which I never use. It is a problem for sure. Heck I just got back from Angler's pro earlier ($66 to get out the door lol) and I had just been the week before and dropped $50

Pam Tillis was interviewed on a late night show once about her song Let that Pony Run.

She said 'songs about men are easy to write. They are just like a largemouth bass. They both like shiny things that wiggle.'

I guess it carries over to tackle as well.

Because, now "we follow and like," or sign up for emails or e-newsletters and get bombarded with sweet deals too hard to pass up. It gets me nearly every time.

I have a better selection of tackle in my garage than many tackle stores have on their pegs. I could open a store to unload my tackle but I did that already in the 80s when I had a store.

Mine too, and she didn't call it junk or stuff....

Ironic actually, she bought me a new Chronarch Monday night for our anniverary..

I believe that while most all of us buy more than we need that your problem is a little more severe. I base this on the fact that I have gone into APT on 2 different occasions to buy something particular only to find the peg empty an Patti told me both times that you were there earlier and bought them out.

had this problem with duck decoys, every sept would open the decoy shed to find1to5 boxes of decoys i didnt need but bought and didnt remember. gave a truck bed half full to kid starting outbthis year and still have ones that never been used lol.
unfortunatly it carrid over to tackle cleqned out the truck the other day qnd found a academyvbag full of baby brush hogs i forgot i bought. perhaps a 12step plrogram is needed

We do by wondering why we put peg board on the wall I have a drawer full of reels a bundle of rods in different actions. At least I have tamed my self to only by what I really use on sale.

Don't really think a 12 step program would begin to help me. Perhaps 20 steps but not 12. The really sad fact is that I made a log of my lake trips last year and I actually caught bass on 9 lures. NINE!!!
