Hey guys I'm posting this here in the bass section because it's a common thing on bass boats now days. I bought a new bird 998c si and would like to have it professionally installed. I would do it myself, but it is going on a TZX 190 (I have a 6" Slidemaster jack plate on it)and there are no pictures for a example. I live in Diana, so anywhere from Tyler to lake fork to Henderson to wherever within 2 hours is fine. Just looking for who you have used that has good customer service.

I installed a Lowrance StructureScan on an 8" Slidemaster and it wasn't hard at all. I used a Transducer Shield and Saver mount for the Slidemaster and it worked good.

I had looked at the transdoucer shield and saver mount, but I'm not sure how its going to work with the way the back if the boat is constructed. It looks like the very back of the jack plate is where the front if the transdoucer should be.

Ok that will work. A picture from the side is what I really want to see. I know I can clear the sponsons. It's just how the bottom of the hull tapers out is what I'm worried about it picking up.

I have the same setup on my ZX 200 that I installed myself easy and works great no problems.
