Have a 18ft skeeter (figure 2400lbs fully loaded) and looking to upgrade the tm. came with a motorguide pro series 46 and I am looking at the powerdrive 55 and 70. Any suggestions....leaning toward the 70 with the i-pilot. Was worried about the extra length of the 70 48" to 54" sticking out the side of the boat.

Biggest My thoughts are get as big as you can fit and afford my 18 has a 101 101 is the way to go if youve got room for the batteries. Our 101 Minn Kotas pull our 24ft boats great. I wish my 18ft Lund had one.
