I tried to get in too. I fish out of a float tube and my main sponsor was China Wok. They said I had to have American sponsor. Bull! BD I found this video of you fishing a BASS event

Is it just the level of talent that is the different between all of the above name series and how would you rate the different levels. That may help some no the different between the really good fisherman and the ones that have a dream Deep Pockets and the ones that don't is the difference. There is high talent level in all of them in my opinion.

We can agree to disagree. Triton gets so many, Skeeter gets so many, ect,..... Know any Team Skeeter guys? Ask them. It's all about the Sponsor Excemptions!!! They will get you in. Buddy of mine ran a Triton for HW and got in with the drop of a hat. I know Team Skeeter guys who did the same......month after I signed up and paid. Just telling ya'll what happens. I never had to deal with that fishing FLW. ^Fact

Key sponsors with Opens?? Not so much. Opens are just that, opens. They don't ask for a list of your sponsors when you register. LOl. The only thing BASS wants to do is get equal numbers of Pros/Co's.
The company who sponsors BASS gets so # of anglers for their sponsor dollars.....trust me. I can verify this as I have a buddy on the Skeeter staff. Skeeter is guaranteed a certain number of entries. But that doesn't stop everyone else from entering. What it means is say they have 150 spots to fill. 50 of them are already guaranteed to different title sponsors. So in reality there are only 100 spots to fill. Edit: Brooks Rogers was a guide on Fork and did fish the Elites.

Ions ago I fished a couple Bassmasters event and back then they we more polite and considerate of the anglers. Always helpful. I havent fished a FLW event, but fished the BFL. A few years ago I was at a breakfast and Charlie Evans was the speaker, he was still big in the FLW. We started talking and he said that they were short Boaters on Pickwick Lake coming up for the Everstart. He offerd to pay my entry for the tournament. Would have loved to gone but I had other plans for that weekend with the family and I couldnt, he told me if things changed, call him
