It happened to me about a year and a half ago...Boat was totaled out.

I got rear ended the first year I bought my skeeter. Skag cut into the hood of that mini-van like a can opener. The mini-van was hit by a truck and pushed into me. The transom saver bent in half and my skag was scratched to hell but that was it. Took it to my boat dealer and the 300 pound lead mechanic hung on the motor and bounced on it while the rest of looked for any stress cracks in the transom. Got lucky I guess. That was all they did to check it. Been using the boat for 5 years since, and no problems. Good Luck!!

On those Faststrike motors have the upper motor mount bolts checked to be sure they didn't break.
