Completed my prototype. This is solid Mesquite with a Birdseye Maple, Ebony, & Amboyna Burl inlay plus a Simms foam insert. Linseed varnish with Briwax top coat on the out side, poly on the inside.

nice work!! Ive been contemplating making a leather one. Might I add, that your Stringworks are awesome too! Great craftsmanship.

I guess if anyone is interested they could PM or email me. My plate is very full with repairs and such. You can check my website for my main gig. I did list the prototype on the SA Craigs list. I modified the size and interior for my customer. Also, his box will be Cherry with a MOP inlay of a fly fisherman.
