I've been looking at the Trail Trekker cart and got to wondering what is inside the foam that makes it hold its shape. Also anyone have one and whats your opinion.

I've seen similar carts using pvc. I wonder if the pvc kind breaks down for stowing in kayak? There us also a guy that makes one and sells them on Ebay and if i remember correctly his were cheaper...

I built one of these, and I like it. But it broke on me once running over some rough ground. One of the Tees broke. I would use it to get to the water locally (up to maybe 500-600 yards), but if I take a trip to a place like Minnesota where I'm going to portage quite a bit and I will be many miles from civilization, I'm taking the best cart I can buy.
