Headed out in the morning to pick up a couple of Jacksons for me and my son. I hope everything goes well. Been waiting for this for a while and I'm glad to finally get it done. I have to buy ALL the gear required to get this going so I'm going to be dropping about 3 grand or so on some gear and the yaks along with some clothing.

We can't wait to get on the water, and to meet some of you guys on here!!!!

Wish us luck!!!

How exciting! Its a blast and any father - son time is a fantastic investment. Idk where or what I'd be if my dad took the time to fish and do other things with me

Ditto.

Let us know if you need any help/advice. We're all happy to help out. And once you get set up, if you two want some company or some guidance there are plenty of people on here who would be happy to meet up and get into some fish depending on where you live. Everyone's been a huge help to me my first week in the community. Don't be shy! cheers

Thanks guys! We are ready to hit the water and catch some fish and spend more time together. I am very lucky to have a son that I can spend time with doing what I love. He is truly my best friend, other than the wife. grin
We talked soo long about doing this I still can't believe they are sitting in our garage. Now if I can make up my mind on what clothing to buy. Hehe. I'm thinkng I'll just get some waders with a belt for now till I figure out what I need.
