 Fuel/Water separator Kit

Hello, I have a 1998 175 Mercury Carb'd Outboard that I would like to add a fuel/water separator kit to. Can anyone recommend a good kit and place to purchase it from?

Have you checked inside your boat to see if it doesnt already have one? The older models they put them in the back by the transom. If not then i would contact your nearest merc deler and buy one. Academy has a generic version if you wanna go that route.

I checked.There is not one there. Bass Pro was no help as well. I will check with the local dealer. Thanks

I bought mine from Academy, but you can also get them from any West Marine. When you do install it make sure your squeeze bulb is between the filter and the motor.
