Hey Guys,
I see how helpful you guys are to everyone on here. My family and I are looking for our first boat. As we shop around it's hard to narrow down our options without knowing how much we have to spend.
Do you guys do pre-approval, so when we go to the dealerships and boat shows, we know how much we have to spend?

..the reason I wish to do it this way is because I'd rather have my credit pulled once than by every single dealer I talk to.

Not speaking on their behalf but I know that when I went for a pre approval process they wanted me to boat picked out first. So what I did is went to an online boat loan calculator and played with it a little to find a ballpark range. Maybe this help you, maybe not just my experience with it. Good luck all my dealings with them so far have been good.

I am also looking for a used boat loan on a 2005 model, what kind of interest rates are out there now for 7-8 years loans with good credit?

I called them a while back and had them run me through at a given amount, with a given down payment, just to see where my payments and interest would be on different term loans. They were very understanding of my needs at the time, and helped me get the info I was looking for. As luck would have it, I found the boat I want today, and will be calling them on Monday to get the ball rolling on the financing.
Great people to work with. Give them a call, they are very easy people to talk to.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space!
