Hopefully someone has run into this and can offer some help. Its about 45 min to TPWD so I'd like to get it in 1 shot.
I got a boat from my uncle. The the boat title has one address, the motor a different one, and now he lives at a new address......which one do we put on the PWD forms???
I would assume the new ones but I don't think he has given them that info...

You get seperate transfer forms for the boat and motor. Just put whatever address is on the title of each one and you will have no problems transferring them.

Luckily I was dealing with a family member so it was easy to catch him again. These forms have everything you need, when filled out correctly. They even act as a bill of sale if the seller keeps one for himself. If you have these two forms (one is motor, one is boat) and the title for each, its a breeze ( when filled out correctly). If not, you will not have a registered boat. I know some folks probably have this down, but maybe it will help someone out in the future. FYI - They don't really care about the address, just YOUR current address.

They shouldn't care about the current address as long as the titles have been signed front and back and you listed as buyer. Also have the 143 and 144 filled out and signed by seller and buyer.

Hey Tommy. Your parts guy helped me find a fuel piece for my 1978 mercury over the phone.I appreciate that. I will be coming over there to order some other stuff in the next month. Its hard to find someone willing to help you find parts for a older motor.
