Whats the general atmosphere at these things. I would love to come (and am more than willing to pay up). I know I wont win, and that's ok, but I would really like to learn as much as I could.
Do people fish close enough together to be able to learn/watch? Or is this more of a competitive tournament type deal?

Some people take it more serious than others but overall it's pretty relaxed. I'm sure you could come out and learn a few things.

Guys spread out but most ppl don't mind You (f)(w)ishing next to them or close and walking over and BS ing or asking ?'s ...... I started these things a cpl yrs ago for more of a meet n greet  You can fish with or near me - ESP if you brings snacks or even better a grill n dawgs or burgers  lol- Ill be winning this thang with Cabelas Salt Striker Reels on 10' ProAngler, Water Eagle and MeatHunter rods................

Hey Dam, I was wondering how far in advance do I have to order a PA rod? I'm going to drop off a pack of diapers and I wanted to pick one rod, maybe two?
