When I was still very young my folks took a trip down to Florda for a vacation. While staying at a resort I begged them to take us out fishing. So the son of the owner of the resort took us out. I managed to hook a posionous sting ray. The guide had to cut the hook out of it's mouth while ducking its tail that was trying to sting him. Fortunatly no one was hurt.

Caught a woman's panty at Lake Lewisville near West Lake Park. I thought I had a decent fish on.

Caught an old collapsible bait basket while fishing for catfish during my bachelor party in the middle of Lake Conroe, took a long time to reel in......
The storm had now definitely abated, and what thunder there was now grumbled over more distant hills, like a man saying "And another thing" twenty minutes after admitting he's lost the argument.

Raccoon in a minnow trap. Foot was caught in the mesh on the opening of the funnel. He was NOT a happy camper. Ever been face to face with a pissed off coon.

a blue heron, flew right into my cast and got the line wrapped around his/her wing. Reeled the bird in, threw my shirt over its head( was kinda scared of that large beak) and retrieved the line. The bird was released unharmed.

I would like to have seen that. I bet bass pro would have wanted it for their tank.

When I was about ten my dad and I were wade fishing in Ingleside cove and he got behind me a little and I hooked him perfectly in the earlobe. That mirror lure was hanging there like a big ol earring. We unscrewed the treble hook off of it and fished for a couple more hours. After we went up to the clinic and clipped the barb off and he got a tetanus shot! That's been 40 years and I remember it like it was yesterday!
