I didn't see anybody bash him. The first thing I thought when I saw the pic was that doesn't look like a 13 lb fish. Obviously a few other people agreed. Nobody told him it wasn't a 13lb fish or called him names that I'm aware of. Just having a civil conversation about the weight of a fish before it was officially weighed.

Your right I may have overreacted on what was being said it just seams like that's how half the big fish post go now. I am not saying that anyof the people people that posted on this thread do that. It just frustrates me when people have to get negative about someones else's fish.

Pictures are often deceiving , second pic makes fish look much better.

I agree. It seems like that has become the norm on here as of lately. When someone catches a nice fish, people just wanna take punches at them. I'm happy for the fortunate ones that catch ones big enough to brag about!

Food for thought: Everytime this topic comes up you also have the "Look out someone is gonna come in here and tell ya it's smaller"

Then we get endless pages of both sides arguing about those who call it a small fish and on and on.

Reality is that in the last how ever many years I've been on the forum there will always be a few that comment from both sides. And that hasn't change and I don't think it ever will no matter how many people pop on a thread and chastise them for it.

It is what it is and it's not gonna change....... Just accept it.
