After thanking our Farmers, my wife turned to me and said "Thanks for being a Printer." Not as impactful right after the Paul Harvey/ Ram Truck commercial, but it was appreciated...so much so, I made a commercial showing who the Printer is.

Working in the Paper and Print industry, It sure nice to see things like this. I hope, but doubt, this video would catch many people's attention. There is a viable business, and industry that is being thrown away right now. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks gentlemen! Our business has increased each year since '09. Many stats show print coming back due to email's unsuccessful attempt at taking over print media as well as online ads being over-saturated. Thanks to SPAM, an argument can be made that print is back.

Great points made, and to hear. I'm on the paper side of things. It's certainly frustrating to hear and read so much gloom and doom. Good to read a refreshing story in this business.

I feel the pains of the printing industry, have seen the good times in the 80s and 90s, but when the dot.com advertising fizzle it has been rough. I work for the Wall Street Journal as Tech Support Manager and have seen half of our plants close and start using contract printing since 2007...just trying to hang on and get a paper out the door every night!

For 15 years now I have supported the tech side of a growing commercial print operation and newspaper. The newspaper side of the business has suffered greatly for many reasons but mostly from the loss of readership but our commercial print customer base has grown from nearly nothing to being what makes the business profitable. Print isn't dead but the cost of doing it on paper gets higher everyday.... The Internet has integrity issues IMHO and will never carry the weight of our democracy as newspaper has for the last 230+ years!

Freedom of the press is only possible because of people that know how to run one!

I have over 25 yrs in the printing business. Just found out a month ago that I'm going to lose my job at the end of May. I've been blessed with a great career with the same company for 15 yrs. Most of my time has been spent in pre press but I started out working on the press.

It's been a good run. I like the video.
