Having both at this time..I like the Falcon Cara's the best. Lot of good rods out there, I like them because of their weight.

Of course I'm partial to Castaway. I haven't found another rod that I would replace them with. The Go2 Series and the Skeleton's use the same blanks and have the power and actions for just about any application you want. Go2's are priced around $100 and the Skeletons about $50 to $60 more than that. The main difference is the hardware on the rods, eyes, seats etc....Some of the models are only available in the Skeleton. If you wouldlike to try any out let me know. I live on Conroe and am at Sam or Toledo just about every weekend.

12 years ago I bought a Custom made Loomis GL-3, Med-Heavy to Replace the 100 dollar Castaway that was stolen I loved that rod. But still have the Loomis and have bought another GL-3 since then also have a Cara and a Bucco. When I get to the lake I pull out the Loomis and start chunkin a worm. That Loomis is so sensitive I can drag that worm across a beer can and Read the Lable.
