I don't know about you guys but deadstickin is at times a tricky proposition for me, I can't always make it work. Today it was hot. Fished with Sea Pro Todd 7-12 and we had a great time. Caught alot of fat prespawn whites, four 17 3/4inch hybrid and Todd nailed a HUGE 26" hybrid in the last ten minutes of our trip. It was an awesome catch. My scale wasn't working but this fish was easy over 10 lbs. After pictures and us howling it was back in the water. What a great fish. We fished south and north and caught them in deep water in both areas. Some birds were working but not on top of much. The Hybrid were caught on Moes Dead Assassins, and the whites were hitting SSS slabs.

Thanks, Geoff! And thanks a bunch Guys!! What an epic fish for me. Been hunting for ever for this beauty and it FINALLY happened when I decided to play hooky from work. LOL! Playing HOOKY paid off BIG time for me! She is definitely a BEAUTY in my eyes and I've been on cloud 9 ever since 11 AM!!!

I caught a 7.5# two trips ago on Twok. A 8.5# last Friday on Hubbard. And today, this fish was BIGGER than those two and what an amazing progression of catching for me!!! ALL on the same lure too!!! LOL

Way to go guy's. It's a great fish. I'm off Thursday and Friday and planning on fishing if the weather lets me.
