Just a quick question. Does anyone know if Tanglewood Resort in Pottsburo has access to allow for bank fishing? I have an industry function coming up in April and the 4 hour guided fishing trip just won't be enough fishing for me :-)

Yes they do have tons of area to fish, but mainly carp, you could get lucky if the bass are spawning, the banks should be full of bedding bass

Just a short hop down the hill to Highport. Drive around the North side and park under the big shell sign. The water is right there. Tough time of year for bank fishing at Texoma. You can fish the docks from the bank or try walking the shoreline East. During the shad spawn in the spring I have done well along there.

Well we limited out with our guide Jeff for our Trane fishing tournement! I did happen to catch our biggest fish on our boat at around 4#'s. I also did okay around the docks for panfish on Saturday evening. The lake was a bit cold for the shallows. I suspect in about a month it will be busy as all get out.

I also tried my luck at Eisenhower on Sunday afternoon. Didn't so much as get a nibble. But a bad day fishing is better then a good day at work:-)

I pulled some LMB from the coves around the boathouses at Lighthouse Resort (Preston Peninsula) yesterday afternoon - jigs/plastic. A couple of really nice females. The water is low and clear. Anyone who likes carp fishing needs to get down there now.....they are coming up in the coves looking like pods of tarpon.
