Naparat and I hit Tawakoni today from 1-5pm. Tried a new area hoping to hook into a big one but it wasnt to be today.

Right when we got there I had a good one hit and wrap me around a stump so I lost it.

First fish of the day was the big one, got excited and forgot to weigh it but we are guessing around 10 lbs.

Second fish was the last one and it weighed 4 lbs 12 oz

Man that's a lot of stumps I could just see myself re-tieing my rigs all day.

yes, leaned on prop sticks with another rod in the ground that goes over the rod butt to keep them from popping up with a fish on.

I think a big tawakoni cat might take your rod and reel for a ride...not to mention you are getting them muddy. Even though catfishguy85 and I don't see eye to eye about the safety of one particular bank fishing location on Lake Arlington (or the political correctness of me making such a recommendation to avoid the aforementioned bank fishing location), he does make good, cheap bank rod holders.
