Besides Cedar Hill what are best state parks for C/B..Easier on us as we have people who would like to fish but cant afford liscense or might only fish one time plus camping...

When I was younger I saw them out in glen rose, but haven't made it out there to see if they still are, really anxious to get a fishing trip going around march.

Yeah none of our boys have to have liscense but sometimes we have moms want to come out one time or a wanna be volunteer!!!!

Purtis Creek. Tons of grass carp, and you may catch big bass and catfish while you are at it. Extremely nice and safe state park as well.

You can check the TP&WL State parks. Maybe find other areas around you. Plus the first Saturday in June you can fish any lake without a license.

Mineral Wells State Park is a great spot as well!
