Yeah, that is why I always carried plenty of life jackets in my boat; it's for sale by the way  (check out the link below in signature line)

I always have my life jacket on when running my boat and I have a rule that anyone in the boat with me must wear one too!

Never once considered not wearing my life jacket. And I always connect the kill switch. If the kill switch ain't working, we ain't going.

Ditto.... Plus #1. Also totally agree on the kill switch as "lakeforkfisherman" stated.
