If it's so poorly written and researched that it uses the word "rubber" it should be ignorable ...rubber is a defined material ......softplastics are not made of rubber.......dumb asses!!!

I find this a bit interesting. One year ago B.A.S.S. was advocating recycling soft plastics and urging fishermen not to drop their discarded baits in the water as bass seemingly suck them up and they can get lodged in the intestines and kill the fish. See the articles here and here. Now, I'm not suggesting soft plastics be banned, but I just find B.A.S.S.' response "interesting" as they quote KeepAmericaFishing officials as not knowing of any study that indicates fish have a problem with soft plastics, yet one year ago they were actively advocating recycling soft plastics to prevent or reduce fish mortalities related to ingesting soft plastics.
