I am trying to plan a long weekend kayak fishing trip to Port A in March with a couple of buddies. Any recommendation on a good CHEAP cabin to stay at?

I don't remember the cost, but I stay at Baytree Condominiums when I am in Port Aransas. It's great, I would recommend it. http://www.portaransastxcondos.com/

Look up Gibbs Cottages. They're in the dead middle of town and they're Cheap but clean and have good hot water and cold AC.

Thanks, I'll have to give them and call and see if they have any available for the week we are going. On a side note this will be my first time kayak fishing the area any tips?

I'll second Gibbs Cotages. They are nice and clean. You will be supporting a great family as well.
