I have a 1996 Ranger bass boat having electrical issues. In the past my depth finder would go out when I hit a wave hard. Last time I went out the alarm is constantly going off and my depth finder won't turn on. At one point the alarm stopped and I tried the depth finder and it worked. So I am guessing I have a short or bad connection.
Could anyone recommend a good boat mechanic for electrical issues in or near San Antonio.
Thanks.

Take it to Ken at Boerne Marine. Not a Range dealer but some great guys with awesome customer service. Im sure they can fix it. Their number is 830-816-2130.

Bigfish I rewired one of those boats front to back a few years ago.
If you want to PM me a phone number I can walk you through a few things to check if your mechanically inclined and interested in doing it.
If we could find a time id even go through it with ya, I am over in Cibolo.
