I was talking to the couple that runs the marina out here today and he wants me to see about setting up a tournament on Murvaull .. he is willing to sponsor the event and help with things.. his only stipulation is he would like to see a 2 day event... or maybe a day and a half.. He has offered 200 bucks for big fish already and i will be able to get alot of other sponsors for this event... but first i need to know if
1. How do i get TFF to let us post their banners and advertise it with their name if willing.
2. How many of yall would like to come.
3. is there anyone here willing to help set up and get sponsors for it?
4. any ideas on rules and regulations...

date to be set later after everyone has chimed in and given me some ideas as to good dates for all yall..the more of yall that come the better i will feel about the event.

also are there any among us that have lots of experience setting up and running tournaments? I will not only be happy for your advise i would be happy to step out of the way and let you set it up. I have set up 3 and all 3 have turned out ok...but i would like this to be an event to REMEMBER... once we get all the details worked out i will have it on local radio and newspapers... also will prob do a few of the surrounding communitys also.

I just talked to masseys outdoor sports and they are interested in helping sponsor also.. please speak up if your interested

we would be fishing lake Murvaull and operating out of the pavillion or the marina ... also im thinking mid march ...when the fishing is the best...

I'd be interested depending upon the date. That's quite a drive for me, but I always like fishing new lakes.

well i happen to have a 38 foot rv you could use if needed... i am going over and talkin to the sponsors tomorrow and will post more as i know it... this is officially now a tournament

I to would like to fish this tournament, maybe I could pair up with whitneylakerat and spilt some cost. I used to live in this area, but never fish this lake for crappie.

guys the owner of the marina is sponsoring the event i will go by there in the morning and see what kinda deal we can get on the cabin rental.. if anyone knows where we can get a st of scales please let me know
