Sharon, them bayous usually are full of stumps, lillypads, hydrilla, milfoil and coontail...My first choice would be to jig around in the coontail, then go to the stumps....the coontail has a half dollar size flower on the water...not really colorful...but you need strong line to fish it...after that I would focus on the stumps...and everything else if those didn't produce.

Hey I would bet if you could go upWaters Bayou a little the fish will be in there if not now the week after valentines the piling under the bridge woul hold some pretty good fish. If you are in St Charles Ark right up Hwy 1 plenty of good fish. Did you live around here or something, or just come hunting. We have had hunters from all over the United States here since November.
