Hey everyone, how's it going? My name is Steven Wise, and i am a soldier stationed at Fort Hood. Fishing is my passion and my favorite hobby. I joined this site because i have been having a tough time catching fish lately! I hope to learn from you guys, and appreciate all tips and help i can get.
I usually fish for bass and catfish, but am interested in carp, it seems very sporty and fun. I have never caught one so i'm excited to try. I love cooking the fish i catch also.
So are there any tips you guys can give me for winter fishing in Texas? Thanks!

Welcome to the site, there is a ton of info on here with sections for each of the species you sited.Just a heads up dont post about eating the bass in the bass fishing section lol

Welcome aboard!
As mentioned it's the perfect time of year, and you'll get plenty of chances to try out what you learn on this forum.
Figure out what species you want to target and where, and then visit those forums and ask away. Plenty of folks are willing to give advise and help put you on fish.
