I am going to go after some largemouth Saturday morn on fairfield. I have never been on the lake any help would be greatly appreciated

Haven't been out there for years but that lake had a kill and I don't know how well it is doing man.

I think the spawn is on or in the latter half. Myself and a couple others were out a couple weeks ago and didn't catch a lot of numbers (3 people in the boat 28 fish total) but water temps were ripe. Most the fish we caught were staging close to deep water. Largest was just under 5lbs and a hair over 18"
David Butker has been running some opens out there almost weekly on Saturdays. pm me for information.
