Here's the plan. It will be my first time on the water there...i have a friends boat i've been using for a few weeks at Hubbard...
Gona be dead sticking with flukes, launching out of holiday marina, slowly scan my way towards the dam area until i see bait around 25-40' of water...
truthfully...it would be cool if you guys would "teach a man how to fish" lol.... jk... i'll be taking off in about 2 to 3 hours here... who's got the map where all the stumps are at...don't wana be speeding there..I've seen it here on TFF but can' find it....

launch on the left ramp by the pier, that area is not bad with stumps, good luck.

If you stay between Holdiay and the dam you won't have a problem with stumps. There is some dangerous shallow water in places so get a good ways out from the marina before you head toward the dam and run in the middle of the lake just to be safe. Take a pair of binos and pay attention to the birds.

Just saw this. Caught most fish on sassy shad today slow reeling under birds. Look for gulls and loon, not the ones around cormorants. Mild schooling deep but close to humps

Won't get any better advice than what Matt said.
