Why are walleye able to live in such a small lake and they never did well in any of the bigger reservoirs like texoma? Anybody knows? Will they last?

Why are walleye able to live in such a small lake and they never did well in any of the bigger reservoirs like texoma? Anybody knows? Will they last? Wheeler Branch is 80 ft. deep so it stays pretty cold thats my best guess

And it gin clear so dosnt warm as much as stained water I think they will spawn easily with all the Rocks in the lake I think they will do fine.
