Y'all wouldn't spend $35 to get a brand new $100+ rod?

It's really not about whether or not these rods should be bought. I will not purchase another but it's about what to do with them once you have one and it breaks. I need to correct myself...I'll buy one if it only costs me $35

If that is the case, then they have changed their policy and have implemented more customer service. That is good on them for responding to the customer's feedback and getting behind a good product.

I think the problem causing carrot sticks to break was fixed by the company. I have two and love them. As someone said, they are light, sensitive, and I have not had a problem with them. Have had them for almost two years.
