Wow spent my lunch hour at spring creek in plano caught a 19 inch beauty of a bass in the first 10 minutes anouther 16 inch a few minutes later several sunfish, It was heaven and I was so pumped up . Decided to go to White Rock Creek after work got there and the banks were crowded one guy had climbed onto the tree in the middle of the creek and was pulling a crappie out every 3 minutes 50 in all 20 keepers folks on the bank wearn't doing much worse ! Me in and hour and a half right in the middle of them all lure no more than 5-8 inches from them I never even got a nibble . been trying all winter and not one bite not one ! I cant figure out what I'm doing wrong . they were fishing on the bottom slowly various lures used everything from minnow looking to tubes, colors from chartuse to silver and I copied every one of them still not a darn nibble tried light line 1/16 inch heads in bright pink to plain unpainted . minnow like lures to mini tubes . any sugggesations that I havent thought of would be appreciated . HELP !

The people that were jigging on those trees did pretty good. The guy on that kayak caught a limit. Like you said, the bites from the bank was really SLOW. It didnt get good till around 5pm.

U need to start living better!!!!....seriously, you need to slow down...if you are catching bass you are fishing way to fast for crappie....make that jig suspend in the water with no movement....or a lite twitch or turn on occasion. BUT I WARN YOU, IF YOU LEARN HOW TO CATCH CRAPPY USING THIS METHOD YOU WILL FORSAKE BASS FISHING FOREVER....hope this info helps.

That tree has always been where the honey hole is, I thought it was time, didn't know for sure.

alot of guys up there will catch a small perch, and fillet tiny chunks off the side of them, then put a little piece on the tip of the hook, and it makes all the difference . I went to flagpole hill once, and there was a guy killing the crappie, catch one almost everycast. we finally figured out what he was doing.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

I almost guarantee they were hitting yours too. Gotta get used to
the nibble. They'll hit it so lightly that you'll think it was just another water molecule bumping against your jig.

Don't feel bad...I am in your same boat. Very frustrating watching other catching fish and you did all you could and still no bites!

Lol hey Remy did you see that guy that stands on the tree start running when it really started raining . Tdon check the very first deep area after the bridge you'll see people hauling them oput like crazy there the bend seems to be dying down for some reason . I get there about six everyday and fish for about an hour I watch some guys pull a fish out about 1 every 4 to 5 minutes . it's cool but wish I could catch just one .
