Looking for some help here... My girlfriend surprised me with a weekend getaway and fishing trip for my birthday. She has already booked the Tanglewood Resort for the weekend, but she has left it up to me to find a fishing guide for us. I have never been fishing on Texoma, so I was hoping yall could point me in the right direction.
Fishing trip is planned for Saturday, Feb. 23. Most likely just her and I. Any advice would be great.
thanks

Fished with Jon at Striper Express today and he worked hard all day. Very personable and professional, will definitely use them again.

Striper Express is by far the best on the lake. I have fished with Chris for a very long time and never been disappointed. He will work very hard to get fish!!! I am going later this week with him and I am very excited!!!!

thanks for all the information. I guess I should add that I am looking for a guide that will have artificial and live bait. I dont know how well my girlfriend would do with artificial, since she has a difficult time paying attention (maybe its just me).

Has anyone ever heard of Tinker Guide Service? We fished with them years ago. They don't seem to be as active as they used to be.

There are so many great guides there that you cant hardly pic one over the other but if I had my choice, Roger Hill 903-818-3474 I have fished with him many many times and have never been let down and he is a ton of entertainment too!

Went with them years ago, don't think they are in business any more.

I have to 2nd that, he had both today, "just in-case" Live bait wasn't needed and I can assure you JD will be a great ,patient teacher. Had a guy with me today that has never Striper fished, (Hybrids yes) JD had him (and me)staring face to face with double digit fish in 10 minutes. Cant say enough. Guy knows the fish. ( as no doubt many of the guides listed do as well) I, in no way mean this as a slight to any guide, there are quite a few great guides on the lake, but I only have personal fishing knowledge of the ones I have fished with. Wish everyone great success.
