Seems like a cool idea having a single hook at the back. Anyone tried one? What are your thoughts?

I have used it and caught fish with it. I did not lose one fish on it which was a plus. The only negative for me is that it does not go as deep as labeled on a cast.

It comes through cover very well and gets A LOT of bites, probably because I throw it into deep trees that most people wouldn't even try to throw a standard crank through. Those fish have probably never seen a crank before.

I don't think I've ever lost a fish that I've hooked on it. That being said, the hook-up ratio is difinitely not as good as your standard crankbait. You're probably not going to hook the fish that slap at it like you would with a standard crank with trebles.

Overall, I'd say they're worth buying because you can get them into heavy cover and they trigger reaction bites very well.

They seem to be popular only when the Berkley big bass event hits Fork.
