Well we did not catch anything... but the weather on Thursday was perfect. My boy had fun anyway. I let him "drive" the boat, he told me I was his "best dad ever." http://imgur.com/a/kFypJ#0Take your kids fishing, yall!

My dad, who raised me fishing told me the key is to get them "hooked" early, then make it fun. When fishing with kids it is not really about the fish but them... When the kid stops having fun just say, "OK, buddy" and take them home. That way they will want to come back and not feel like they are "trapped".
Also, having fun does not necessarily mean "fishing"... he spent a good two hours playing with the minnows and asking me questions about how "minnows work."
