We usually have it in late May or early June.
Does anybody know anything about Stillhouse?
It is very Central.

Austin is a long haul from North TX. 'Specially from The Panhandle. Something halfway between DFW, SA area and H-town seems to be fair. Seems to cover most of the regulars.

'Ppreciate it Rev. Never fished Stillhouse before, but heard its bathtub clear so it should be very similar to SouthTex fishing. Any reports from last year would help.

I would really like to meet up and put a face to some of the names on the site. My boys and i are more of seasonal fishermen but really enjoy fishing for sunnies using lures. Hope something can be worked out.

Another suggestion. Kerrville, TX. The Guadalupe River runs thru it. There are a number of places to fish. There is a city park with cabins/tent sites/rv sites/showers/pavillions/swimming/day park area and plenty of shade. For those with boats there is a public boat ramp with not to much traffic. Not many jet skiis. Another park within 5 miles has boat ramp for use with boats using electric motors only. A great variety of fish as well. Just my 2 cents.

This is looking like a good location. When I zoom out on the map it is almost dead center in Texas. Caddo Lake SP is nice also. Lets start talking about dates. In the past we've always done this in June but the last two summers have been killer so maybe sometime right before or after Mothers Day?

Talk it up. coach

I agree this is dead center Texas it is the most logical spot and then the people in like say west texas or the Panhandle arn't left out

Its not about how deep you can fish but by how you wiggle your worm
