 All I can catch are Mud Cats

Been fishing the last 2 days and have only been catching mud cats been using bacon as bait.... Not sure what's going on...any advice would be helpful thanks

Were are you fishing. Lakes ponds rivers. You cod try some fresh bait it will make a world of difference.

Use the mudcats for bait 
Mekong cat: 77 lbs
Buffalo 40 lbs
Carp 15 lbs

#1 stop calling them mud cats. They find it offensive. Bullhead is more PC. The channel cat population looks to be good there, so does the Shad population. You may try to get a few fresh Shad from some one. You will still catch the occasional bullhead, but the channels will come.
