Let me start by saying that I haven't a clue as to what I am doing when it comes to deep water fishing. (deadsticking) I am headed out in the morning for the third time trying to catch some Hybrids or Sandies. I have an HDS-8 LSS-2 and hope to be able to figure it out. I can't promise fish but maybe someone that can help me will be free in the morning. I plan on being at the west side 2 mile bridge ramp at about 8am. PM if you are interested. I will get back with you tonight, we are headed out so it might be a bit later before I contact you.

If I had anything to contribute I'd jump on this but I've never fished Twok, don't know electronics, etc. Good luck out there tomorrow.

DON'T LITTER!

If Lubbock wasnt 400+ miles away I would of. Course then we would of had a retired corpsman and marine who dont know how to fish for deep striper lol. You ought to invest in a guide there one day, really shorten the learning curve.

Great offer! I don't own a boat and would have liked to take you up on the offer but just now saw this. It is always harder to dead stick in high winds. You want to not be moving any faster than .5 miles per hour to deadstick. PM me when you get back and I will try and help any way I can.

No doubt we could. I would buy your gas. I am looking at a trip to Arliongton next month, if it works out I will check with you.

MJ, it didn't go so well. When I got up Sunday morning to head down to the lake the wind was already starting to blow. That wasn't too much of an issue because I had purchased a 54" sock to try out. However since no one took me up on my free seat offer I decided I would just stay home and work on the boat seat swap. I am just lacking confidence on this deep water fishing and didn't want to spend another fruitless day on Tawakoni alone.
