If you have a flat bottom above 1794 is the place to be.Go up to the water fall and lode the boat, just be carefull going around all the rocks.

It is also worth mentioning that it is pretty hard to use that ramp without four wheel drive. There are plenty of fish to be caught though

Yea the ramp is a bit steep and it takes some navigating to make it to the hole but its the best white bass fishing around. Its well worth the venture esp. if you have kids that like to fish.

From marshall go south on 59 to 1794 TL go to T and TL bridge is right there. Put in and go up river to the water fall/shoals. Need some some 3" white and chartruse grubs slow roll on bottom and have a blast.

It looks to be about a three mile boat ride north of the bridge. Where do you park? -Fat

It is a TP&W ramp at the bridge. Park there. Definitely cannot use 17' Xpress with 70 hp. 14' jon boat with 9 hp much more likely to make trip.

We take a pro drive up with little problem, the 70 would make it if water is up we have seen a 90 on a big flat bottom make but an airboat would be great.

I have a 18 ft skeeter with 150 is my boat ok on the Sabine. I sure do not want to tear my boat up. I just totally restored my boat from front to back and do not want to mess it up.

The Dallas Down River Club moved their annual Sabine White Bass float from March 8-10 to Feb 22-24 because the fishing is so hot already. They fish from Hwy 59 down to FM 2517

I personally would not take my Skeeter with the current river level. However, others will. Unless the river is running higher than it is now, stumps are always an issue. You have to go slow.
