I have only fished Bridgeport for 2 years and only for Hybrids, I have caught hundreds of little crappie at times casting for shad, so there has to be a good population of decent eatable Crappie.

Any one know if they are "on" yet? and any pointers on where to start looking? I have caught allot of small ones on the bridge pillars, but usually during Early Spring through Summer (small ones while catching shad.) There are some good channels up the lake that may be a good place to start, but the lake is like 15'+ low so,,,,

Thanks

Don't know. That's my best guess based one one trip to Bridgeport and recent experience on another lake. Deep water in front of river/creek mouth.
