Skunked. Not even a nibble, in two days!
I found some promising sonar returns in some 30-40ft trenches.
I spent the first day bouncing minnows off their heads, the next day I tried fresh shrimp. Nothing. at. all.
Also tried some coves to no avail.
I talked to three or four other fishermen, nobody had any luck at all... must be the weather or something.
Also, big thanks to the two guys in the bass boat who called my ride home for me after my cell phone ended up in Davey Jone's locker. You know who you are!

It's just the moon or the barometer or something... it will pick up again.

I fish there a lot of times throught out the year. One of my favorite places to fish, and its right down the road from me. Its just tricky.

i don't know...  i live right down from it also, but an occasional channel every now then, but thats it. so i rather drive to where they are at. but rumor has it that they're in there.
