Is the lake pretty safe to run? Anything to watch out for? I have been one time, but was confined to a small area due to foggy weather. Thanks for the help, just want to stay safe!

It's safe ! I mostly fish the southeast end, by the dam and up as far as twin coves and the rocky shoreline northwest of there. I don't run too close to shore as those points can come up pretty shallow and I usually don't run between the island and the shore although you probably could. Just keep your eyes peeled and use good judgement and you'll be fine.

I'm not an authority on the lake, but I've ran all over the lower 2/3 without hitting anything. However, I've only been on the northwest end one time so I can't speak for that. Have caught some pretty good air from big a$$ party boats. Swing wide of the points and island is what I do. Have fun.
