Ah Cool.. Jerry where would you launch? I might be able to take the morning off and meet you out there. I live at 288/380 so all the launch points are close to me.

I'm going to bank fish below the dam at Ray Roberts.
I'm up early anyway so might as well hit it in the morning.

Did anyone go? I had my stuff packed to go and I got up a 3 this morning with a case of the crud. Was looking forward to wetting a line someplace other than LLEA.

Report?

Water needs to be 57-58 degrees in the creeks and rivers for them to spawn. Mid Feb-March is when it really starts after a good rain. The main lake is still 47-49 degrees. They wont start migrating till the lake hits 55-56 ish. (at least for the lakes here in DFW)

It was cold and nasty this morning. Ben and I tried it but the results were not good. He caught one dink.

I caught 3 .. nothing of size but did better as I moved further south. All good for me as I got to cast and enjoy the weather that was present.

Just a note for improving the weather listen to: " the goat rodeo sessions" .... next time you go out and cast : Yo Yo Ma paired up with some incredible Blue Grass Musicians will change your frame.

Oh Yea...... for Karma's sake when asked if you will give a guy a jump for his car do so.. you know it's the proper, civil, human, and nice thing to do.

I have tons of electronics in my truck. Therefore I don't jump start folks unless I have my booster pack and I didn't because I'm still restricted to only lifting 8 pounds so it's out of the truck.Fortunately I don't believe in Karma. I appreciate you educating me on that.
