Hey guys, I'm interested in diving off into this sport of kayak fishing, but I need a kayak! I am looking for a used 12 foot pescador or something similar. I don't want to spend a ton, it being my first one and all. Anybody help me out?

Do you need a fishing rig or just fun/leasure?

We have several demo kayaks and new previous year models available. Also have several new Perceptions that would be in a similar budget. Call me at the store today (972/241-1498) and have a short chat. I will be glad to make recommendations of all brands based on your size, usage, and budget. With a little free advice, you may be able to maximize your budget dollars!

I just bought this today. Great deal on what looks like a nice Kayak. Looked at the kayak last week and it was $500. Going to take it out Sunday or Monday and see how it does. This is my first sit on.

Thanks, get the feeling I will be doing lots of modding.
BTW, for anyone considering buying from Old Town/Ocean Kayak, when I got it home I noticed that the adjustment handle on the foot brace was broken. Not a big deal but it is new, right? Emailed customer service and one hour later, a replacement foot brace is on the way. Impressed.
