Fished Fork today and the bite was slow. I caught 2 on main lake points, 1 on c-rig, 1 on crankbait. Water temps uplake were 54 and 51 towards the dam. Hope this helps

alpha and skeeter are 2 of the best sources you could ask for. keep in mind for most of even the experienced anglers it is tough this time of year. bites can be few and far between, but you never know when the bite is coming. swing for the fences, stay comitted, and enjoy your time not working.

Heading east tomorrow and would like a Fork update if anyone could be so kind. These are the baits and techniques I would recommend you use. Try casting a 1/2 oz jig to creek channel bends in 15-20 ft or flipping standing timber on the edge of creeks in 10-15 ft. When casting the jig, work the bait back very slowly. Most of the bites will be as you are coming over laydown trees on the edge of the creeks. Look for creek channels in the back of Birch, Glade, and Little Mustang. On windy banks toss a flat crank or white spinnerbait in 5-7 ft. Slowly reel these baits just off the bottom. This has been a good am bite during the recent warming trend. Fish these baits on main lake and secondary points. Good luck!
